Follow your guide as he takes you on a unique journey of tracing the footsteps of Arab Sultans on Zanzibar and ponder on the interesting historical sites and labyrinths. You will also visit the bustling market, walk in winding alleyways. Going to see the actual ornately carved and studded Zanzibar doors famous for their unique architectural tradition is also included on your tour.
You will have lunch in Stone Town and afterwards you will proceed to a tour of the backcountry to the spice plantations. Here, you will get an opportunity to learn where the spices come from so that you use so naturally when preparing your everyday meal at home. This place has a rich history and you will be welcomed by the rich aroma of spices such as cinnamon and nutmeg. Afterwards drive north of Zanzibar to Kendwa beach, an idyllic beach location, famous for its white sand, clear waters, and romantic sunsets.
